Hosted by life coach and yoga teacher Gillian Dodd, our Azure ‘Me Time’ retreat is all about taking time out for yourself this summer, enabling you to rest, recharge and make the next stage of your life the best yet. This week is particularly aimed at women approaching mid-life and beyond, and will focus on how we take care of ourselves, build resilience, and explore our authentic selves. Included in the retreat price is daily yoga, delicious vegetarian food, coaching sessions, and plenty of time for fun and reflection.

As an experienced international coach, Gillian has helped many to flourish amidst the challenges of life. She creates simple sessions for you to review aspirations, increase resilience, positivity and motivation.

Many of us dedicate so many of our years to our careers, relationships and looking after others. We have given so much of ourselves, that we can lose sight of who we are. Sometimes we hold ourselves back and take far too much notice of our inner critic as we approach the latter years. During our sessions Gill will invite you to explore some of your limiting beliefs and perhaps set some goals.


As an accredited yoga teacher, Gillian is passionate about enabling others to experience the benefits of yoga – she is quick to let you know that you don’t have to be flexible or supple to do yoga. Just bring the body you’re in.

If you’re new to yoga then this is the ideal retreat for you. Yoga with Gillian will be available twice daily most days and you can do as much or as little as you wish and even develop your own practice to do back at home.

This is an opportunity for you to take a gentle journey of self-discovery. As well as your daily yoga practise, we encourage you to take some time to write, paint or just lose yourself in a book in a truly beautiful setting. We welcome you to take part in daily sessions where you can reflect on your learning about life so far and explore the next chapter with renewed wisdom, confidence and a strong sense of purpose.

Many of our guests are solo travellers. Azure fosters a relaxed environment, and any anxiety, anticipation and excitement soon passes and the feel-good factor of this place has a ripple effect. There will be a facebook page dedicated to the ‘Me Time’ retreat, so if this is your first solo trip you can get to know the other ladies, ask any questions you may have, maybe even find a travel buddy.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect from the retreat. I’m a yoga beginner who likes her meat, her sun, her soul baring chats but also her alone times. But I came away feeling limber, relaxed, rejuvenated, inspired to cook more meatless meals, tanned, and most importantly, with new friends

I was absolutely amazed at the restorative effect of a week at Azure. Our hosts Michelle and Ali were absolutely wonderful, I thoroughly enjoyed the yoga and the vegetarian food, and the company was wonderful.
